Yellow Sun Jar - LED Night Light by SUCK UK. The glass jar stores sunlight for the night time. Designed by the fabulous Tobias Wong just for SUCK UK! The Sun Jar collects and stores sunlight so that you can see in the dark. Suitable for use indoors or in the garden. Really simple - just a solar panel, battery and LED light. A jam jar stores jam. A sun jar collects and stores sunshine so that you can get use it at night. In the day leave your Sun Jar outside - or in a sunny window for several hours to charge. At night your Sun Jar lights up automatically. It is made with a traditional Mason Jar and inside the sun jar is a highly efficient solar cell, rechargeable battery and LED lamp. When the jar is placed in sunlight, the solar cell creates an electrical current that charges the battery over the course of the day. This energy is then used at night to power the LED lamp inside the jar. The light emitted is diffused by the frosted jar and gives the appearance of sunlight. Sun Jars work best outdoors in DIRECT sunshine! Solar powered lamp that gives you free sunlight forever!
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use - Mason Jars are beautiful and - by their very nature - watertight, so the Sun Jar can happily be left outside in any weather conditions. A perfect garden light or nightlight for a child's bedroom. You may have noticed that there is no switch on the Sun Jar - in fact there are no visible controls at all. A light sensor inside the jar automatically activates the lights when it gets dark (or the lights are turned out!). There is an override switch inside the lid to turn off the light at night if you prefer.Automatic switch on - The Sun Jar has a built-in light sensor, and switches on and off automatically when it gets dark or light. The Sun Jar MUST be in the dark to light up.Charging - The battery needs sun to fully charge, and your Sun Jar may need charging before its first use. Leave outside or in a sunny window in DIRECT SUNLIGHT. It will require several hours and, in overcast conditions, we recommend charging for a few days.Manual Switch Off - If you do not want your Sun Jar to light up when it gets dark, set the switch to the "Charge" mode. This will conserve the battery life and charge the battery at the same time: lift the metal lever to release the lid and set to "Charge". The Sun Jar will continue to charge in “Auto” mode.Winter - Bad weather is bad news for Sun Jars! You may find that in winter, or during cloudy weather, your Sun Jar illuminates for less time than usual, flickers, or does not light up. In times of prolonged bad weather (when there is not enough natural sun to charge your Sun Jar) you can remove the battery and charge it in a normal battery charger.Replace The Battery - Rechargeable batteries have a long, but not indefinite, life. After many charges, the battery may lose its ability to store energy. Open the Sun Jar and lift out the rubber insert and solar panel. The battery is under the solar panel, replace with a standard AA rechargeable battery. Never use a non-rechargeable battery in your Sun Jar.Water Resistance - Kilner Jars have a watertight seal, so your Sun Jar can be left outside in wet weather. After a long time outside, condensation may build up inside, this will not damage the Sun Jar. To remove any moisture build-up, open the lid and ease out the inner workings, empty out the water and replace the inner.
UK Postage - The majority of items are posted via the Royal Mail 1st class service or our Courier for heavier orders, although it may also include a 'signed for' postal service at our discretion. All orders under £35.00 are charged a flat rate delivery charge of £1.99 per order (not per item). Any order with a total value £35.00 or above is delivered using a standard delivery service free of charge. We aim for Same Day Dispatch if orders are received before 1.30pm and the items are in stock.
For all orders average delivery time will be between 1 and 3 days, though heavier orders may take up to 6 days. Please note, all greeting cards automatically have free standard UK delivery. For this reason they will not contribute to the £35 order total required to qualify for free delivery when purchasing other products.
Should you have a tight deadline and need a guaranteed delivery date you have the option to upgrade to Royal Mail Special Delivery for an additional charge. Delivery time will be between 1 and 3 days (dependant on postage day as Royal Mail do not guarantee Saturday delivery).
European Postage – All items will be sent via either standard Royal Mail Airmail or via the Royal Mail International Signed For Service (which requires a signature on delivery). Delivery costs vary depending on weight, an estimation can be obtained from the link in the Shopping Cart. Delivery is normally within 5 to 10 days.

that you will receive faulty goods. However, if you do received damaged

we will offer a full product replacement, posted at our cost, and will
refund the return postage on the faulty item. Alternatively a refund can
be given. Products should be returned to us in the original packaging
and be in their original form. Refunds will be made via your original
goods – If you decide you do not want the goods once they have been
delivered you have up to 21 days to return them for a full refund. If
you wish to return the goods please contact us via email for further
instruction. The goods must be returned to us adequately packed (usually
in the original packaging) and be in their original form (i.e.
resalable condition). The customer will be liable for the return postage
costs, and for your protection it is recommended that a ‘signed for’
service be used (at the very least get a receipt and proof of postage
from the Post Office). The 21-day period will commence from the date of
the invoice. Once the goods have been received back the refund will be
made via your original payment method.
